St. John Karoun Dance Ensemble was created to promote St. John Armenian Church and Armenian culture within both Armenian and non-Armenian communities throughout the greater Bay Area.
St. John Karoun Dance Ensemble began in 1999 under the direction of Carol Kazarian and Lauren Almquist. Over the years, the group has performed at a variety of public functions throughout the greater Bay Area. Participation may vary from year to year according to members’ work and school schedules.
