We are happy to announce that St. John’s church office is now reopening and will continue to serve the community. In late March, when the shelter-in-place order took effect, as all non-essential workplaces, the office was closed, and the church staff quickly reorganized so that everyone could continue their functions while working remotely. During that time parish staff and volunteers continued to serve the community through outreach efforts. However, with the phased reopening of the county, St. John’s office is now reopened and preparing to best serve the community during the ongoing COVID–19 pandemic crisis.
Safety Policies
As part of the reopening, we have adopted several policies to ensure the safety of our office staff and visitors. For anyone that wishes to visit the church, please note the following:
- All office visitors whether service providers, vendors, or guests, are required to wear a mask while on the premises.
- All visitors are required to call the office in advance and make an appointment.
- No more than one scheduled party will be on the premises at the same time.
- Guests are still encouraged to meet with office staff via telephone or video call whenever possible, as an alternative to in-person visits.
We thank the faithful for the ongoing support and we wholeheartedly encourage them to remain in contact with their spiritual home. Although by country regulation against public worship, for now, the sanctuary must remain closed to the faithful, the parish remains a center of hope and love for our family in Christ.
