On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the St. John Armenian Church community gathered to celebrate the culmination of another meaningful and spiritually enriching Sunday School year. The celebration took place following the Divine Liturgy, filling the sanctuary and parish hall with joy, gratitude, and a deep sense of unity in faith.

A special highlight of the day was the recognition of Artoon, who was honored as this year’s Sunday School graduate. The church community congratulated him on reaching this important milestone in his spiritual education, and prayers were offered for his continued journey with Christ.

The celebration was also an opportunity to express heartfelt gratitude to all the Sunday School teachers, who lovingly and patiently guide our children in their Christian formation. Their weekly commitment plays a vital role in the spiritual life of our parish.

A special acknowledgment was given to Cissy Baloian, whose unwavering dedication and love for the youth of the church have been a blessing to the entire community. In appreciation of her outstanding service, Cissy was presented with a gift on behalf of both the parents and the parish. Her example of service and humility continues to inspire all who serve in the life of the church.

Additional recognition was offered by Sevag, Paula, and Fr. Mesrop, each highlighting Cissy’s steadfast presence, loving heart, and tireless efforts that have uplifted the Sunday School program year after year.

As the celebration concluded, the atmosphere was filled with appreciation, hope, and a sense of purpose. We give thanks to God for a fruitful Sunday School year and look forward to continuing our mission of planting the seeds of faith in the hearts of our youth.

The day concluded with a spirit of joy, community, and thanksgiving, as families and parishioners shared fellowship and looked ahead with hope to the next Sunday School year. May the seeds planted in the hearts of our youth this year continue to grow in faith, love, and commitment to Christ and His Holy Church.
