This year's Sunday School program began on September 9, with a fun and exciting opening day. Parents and students, new and old, gathered together to meet the faculty and to learn more about their vision for this year's program.

This year we are excited to welcome to new members to our Sunday School staff. Mrs. Christine Tehlirian will be taking on the role of Sunday School Coordinator and will be managing communications, scheduling, and other administrative duties. Julie Avetisyan, an Alumni of our Sunday School and recent UCLA graduate, will be teaching our Kindergarten through First Grade class.

The theme for this year is "Won't You Love Thy Neighbor." A theme inspired by the late Mr. Rogers, with an emphasis on encouraging our Sunday School children to meet and grow closer to their fellow faithful. Under this framework, St. Vartan Oakland will be visiting our Sunday School in October, and our students will also be participating in other programs as well.
