Whether a child is the next violinist for a major orchestra or they just like to sing songs in the car, there’s no denying that music has many benefits for children. Among the many studies, many say learning music improves test scores, focus, listening skills and memory.

After enjoying the Karen and Stephanie Singalong concert on April 29, due to a popular demand St. John organized a 6-week series of Music Classes lead by Stephanie Chutjian Betjemann for children age 0 – 4. More than ten families participated throughout these fun and educational sessions. The children learned Armenian folk songs, they played different percussive instruments and danced to Armenian music.

Once again Stephanie engaged the children with her beautiful voice and with her playful approach. St. John thanks Stephanie and looks forward to the continuation of this program.
