St. John Armenian Church picnic was held on Sunday August 21, 2016, the picnic was a huge success, brought the community together through entertainment, food and games for children. More than 200 parishioners with their families came together at the magnificent Coyote Point Park to spend wonderful time together.
The festivities began with the morning service conducted by Fr. Mesrop Ash along with altar servers, followed by games, music, food and fun for all ages. Our children had lots of fun, with several new games, face painting, Armenian dancing and activities.
This year for the first time we had a scrumptious ice cream bar where everyone made waffle cones on a special griddle perfect for holding scoops of their favorite ice cream.
Special thanks to Sylvia, Charles and Steven Cherezian for organizing and all of the volunteers responsible for cooking and making this event a huge success. Your dedication and hard work are greatly appreciated by everyone.
