As we reflect on 2017 we have so much to be thankful for. Our regular gatherings throughout the year were well attended and continually filled with a bond of special friendship, wisdom and cheer from our longtime standing members, new members, and friends. Like our 75th Anniversary Gala that celebrated the good days from the past and honored the present,  Ladies Society aims to continue to embrace this amongst all who connect with the Ladies Society and St. John Church.  It’s a place we make friendships spanning generations, in our spiritual home.

Our most recent event, our Christmas luncheon, and meeting, was bright and well attended. Thank you to everyone who joined us on December 14.  Our brief meeting offered a quick review of our outgoing executive board members and we selected new incoming board members.  Christina Ardemis has been leading the Ladies Society as chairperson for the past four years. We are sad to see her leave the executive board but we know she will continue to actively be present in many ways serving Ladies Society and St. John Church.  Christina was thanked and was presented with a bouquet of red roses. Christina shared what inspired her and the joys of her opportunity to lead and be involved with the Ladies Society for the past four years.  Christina has inspired many others to become involved.

With 2018 here, we welcome all ladies of our community (over the age of 21) to join the Ladies Society as a dues-paying member for $20 annually. Our meetings, luncheons, and events are open to everyone regardless of becoming a dues-paying member or not. However, dues help offset the expense of mailings, pop up coffee hours and other small gestures throughout the year.  Please consider becoming a 2018 dues-paying member.  Watch for our 2018 calendar of events.  Hope to see many of you at our next event, soon to be announced.
