For over one year St. John has been offering seasonal religious education courses with unique, focused, and engaging topics. This program is continuing in 2018 with the newly Winter courses that will be offered from January 30 to March 6. The offerings include last seasons “Whats the Difference?” course and the newly designed “On Living Simply” course. As always, all courses are free, meet 4 to 5 times, and last about an hour.

Have you ever wondered how the Armenian Church is different from other Christian Churches? Its a good question, but the Armenian Church is unique in many interesting and beautiful ways. Exploring this topic is the purpose behind “Whats the Difference?” and throughout the course, you’ll learn a lot about the Holy Bible, Christian History, and also the history of the Armenian people. This class will meet Tuesday mornings from 10 am to 11 am.

We’re genuinely excited about our new course entitled, “On Living Simply.” If you’ve ever felt that your life had too much stuff in it, whether they are possessions, obligations, anxieties, or apps on your phone, then this is the course for you. Beginning with Jesus Christ, and continuing with the works of our Church Father, and including contemporary movements encouraging organization and minimalism, there are valuable tools that Christians can use to simplify their lives. Not only is pursuing this goal helpful in our everyday life but its essential to living a God-pleasing life. This course will be offered on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
