We are happy to share the following message from Mer Hooys, House of Hope regarding one of our Sunday School Students:

Sophene Panosian, a 10-year-old fifth grader from KZV Armenian School and Sunday School student at St. John Armenian Apostolic Church in San Francisco, California has started her own little business baking cakes and cupcakes to raise money for Mer Hooys. Her goal is to raise $1000 and she is well on her way!

We are so proud of Sophene for learning at a young age that giving to help others, particularly children her age who are less fortunate, is a lesson in selflessness that she will carry with her for the rest of her life. Thank you to our board member Father Mesrop Ash for introducing Sophene and her family to Mer Hooys.

Thank you Sophene - we are looking forward to when you will soon be talking with our girls at Mer Hooys by Skype and meeting them in person. God Bless You little angel!
