Once more calling all High School and College students! Last summer St. John started an internship program which was very successful.  More than 10 students signed up for the program and worked twice a week on different projects.

Again, this summer St. John is inviting you to become an intern. You can gain practical work experience, help your community, and apply your time against your volunteer hours requirements at school. Work hours will be flexible according to your summer schedule, and can begin with a commitment of as little of six hours a week, beginning in July. Our office is a fun and relaxed place to work and occasional outings will be planned for interns.

Here are some of the projects you will help with:

  • Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, etc...)
  • Website management
  • Digital scanning of photos and documents
  • Caring for the Church Garden
  • Visiting the homebound and ill
  • Update the church data base

Parents, this will be a wonderful opportunity for your children to learn more about the Armenian Church and its mission. Armenian or Russian language proficiency isn't required, but if they speak either language, it will be an excellent opportunity for them to apply their skills and even learn more.

For more information to sign up for an internship, please contact our office at (415) 661-1142 or email info@stjohnarmenianchurch.com.
