Gathering together to kick off the year in September to a celebration lunch in May we have much to celebrate and be thankful for with the presence of our youth. Sunday School met every Sunday keeping the students busy with religion classes, learning liturgy sharagans, attending church and many special projects. A few of our special projects included: garden ministry lessons led by Ellen Eagen, the students collected school supplies for Mer Hooys, the girls danced with the Karoun Dance Assemble led by Carol Kazarian, jazz ensemble performance led by Tommy Kesecker and the year ended with mosaic workshops with Artist Kim Larson. Every student who attended the mosaic workshop has a tile displayed on the mosaic mural on the Ashjian Hall wall facing the parking lot. We are proud of all the students and their families for attending and participating in so much. It’s a joy to see so many joining together to keep our faith and friends growing strong.
We look forward to the 2016/2017 Sunday School year, which launches on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
