Sunday, May 8, 2016, as in the past St. John men came early morning to prepare delicious breakfast which included eggs, sausages, pancakes, mimosas, and coffee, for all the mothers and families. It was great seeing families gathered together to celebrate Mother’s Day as one family. Following the breakfast, everyone participated in Divine Liturgy. 

During the Divine liturgy Fr. Mesrop offreed for his day spiritual message about the very important role that mothers play in the life of the Christian church, emphasizing that many great and essential leaders of Christianity were directly influenced by their mothers beginning with the life of Jesus Christ, continuing through the saints and apostles, until this very day. At the conclusion of the message the altar servers each stood up gave a personal heartfelt message of gratitude to their mothers who were present.
