Within the life of the Armenian Church and its members, marriage is a sacred and marvelous sacrament. It is a wonderful celebration that is consecrated by God's blessings.

If you are interested in being married at St. John Armenian Apostolic Church please fill out the form below so that we can be in contact with you regarding making arrangements for this joyous day.

Before you fill out this form please be aware that there are few things you should consider as you prepare for marriage in the Armenian Church.

  • The Sacrament of Marriage in the Armenian Church should be performed between baptized and consecrated partners. If one or both of parties are interested in the sacrament of baptism, please contact the parish priest to learn more.
  • In accordance with the canons of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Sacrament of Marriage must only be performed in a consecrated sanctuary. If the couple would like to have the sacrament celebrated at an alternate church, besides St. John, this will be considered by the Parish Priest.
  • It is the tradition of the church that the officiating clergyman conducts pre-marital counseling with the couple in preparation for the important commitment they will be making. Once the form is submitted the church office will be coordinate with the couple to schedule sessions that are convenient for everyone's schedule.
  • The Sacrament of Marriage can be performed in Armenian, English, or a combination of both.
