Sunday, May 1, 2016, following the church services the congregation gathered at the Paul Family Hall to enjoy fellowship hour and to hear the special presentation by Nshan Kesecker. Fr. Mesrop welcomed everyone and invited sDn. Nshan Keseker to the podium.  Nshan captivated the audience with his remarkable power point presentation, with pictures and descriptions of historical monuments in Armenia and Iran. He discussed the relationship between the Armenian and Old Persian languages, also the importance of the Behistune Stone's inscription to Armenia, as well as the history of Armenia in the Achaemenid Persian Empire. The audience was very impressed with this informative and well-prepared presentation.

Nshan Kesecker holds BA from USF and MA from the University of Chicago in History. He has been very active at St. John Armenian Church since his childhood, by attending Sunday School, and serving on the Altar every Sunday.

We thank Nshan for his service on the altar throughout the years, and also for this outstanding presentation.
