For the past month, Evening Services have been held each Wednesday to provide an opportunity for the faithful to pray and meditate. We give thanks that many have come to enjoy the prayerful respite of the prayers of evening hour.
Beginning February 12, 2014 the Evening Service will be held at 7:00pm. The reason for this change is to give those who work and have families more time to attend.
Evening Services begin with a short meditational prompt in the form of a quote or scripture reading. It is followed by the prayers of the evening hour, which roughly consist of the chanting of psalms, supplications for peace, Soorp Asdvadz, and the Hampartsi hymn. The service is about 30 min. in length and is performed in Armenian and English.
