Sunday, December 8, following the church service, and delicious “madagh” lunch hosted by the Gasparyan family, the parishioners of St. John Armenian Church gathered together to decorate the hall and the church.

Children were singing Christmas carols and running down the hallways, outside in the courtyard some parents were on the ladder hanging the lights and some were inside decorating the Christmas tree and hall. What a joyful sight to see. By four o’clock the church was decorated and ready to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.  One could feel the Christmas spirit among the parishioners, and the joy of decorating together as one family.

We thank everyone who stayed and decorated and we hope to see you on Tuesday December 24, for Candlelight Service at 7:00pm.
