Why take this step?
Dndes (Տնտես) is an Armenian word for a steward: someone entrusted with the care of a household. At St. John, it gives a clearer name to an intentional commitment to our parish.
You may already worship here, help others, and share in the life of St. John. Becoming a Dndes is a way to make that responsibility deliberate and lasting, alongside others who will carry this parish forward.
Belonging to the Church is a gift received through baptism and life in Christ. Dndes does not create that belonging or put a price on it. It is our public language for St. John’s existing pledged-member commitment; it does not create a new membership category or change parish rules.

The next step
What does becoming a Dndes mean?
Dndes follows St. John’s existing application and annual pledge process. Parish Council review, Parish Assembly participation, and voting continue under the applicable parish and diocesan requirements.
A pledge is one part of this formal commitment. It is never a fee for worship, the sacraments, or a place in the life of the Church.
