Blood Drive in Honor of the Victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915

On April 18, 2014 St. John Armenian Church will hold a blood drive from 2:00 - 6:00pm.

Giving blood is giving the gift of life for those who need it most. Every year on April 24, Armenians around the World commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide, 1.5 million souls taken by the “Young Turk” government of the Ottoman Empire, the first genocide of the 20th century. By collectively donating blood as a community we symbolically express our gratitude as genocide survivors and express our devotion to uphold life in honor of our ancestors.

Participants automatically enter a drawing for prizes; do not have to be present to win.

Appointments aren’t required, but highly recommended. To make an appointment online click here and follow the instructions.
