We are excited to announce that the 2015/2016 Sunday School year will officially begin on September 13, on the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Students are welcome to go to the Ashjian Room for a welcoming assembly, then they will attend Divine Liturgy as a group to celebrate the Feast, and hear a children’s sermon prepared by Fr. Mesrop.

In order to better serve our growing Sunday School, we are excited to announce that our Sunday School staff has grown as well! We are welcoming Leslie Kissick to our 7th grade - High School teaching staff. She will be joining Sevana Panosian and Sevag Sarkissian to facilitate our oldest group, which is the largest its ever been, this year!

Also, it has been wonderful to see the growing number of babies and toddlers in our parish. Its important to us that these, our most important church members, receive the attention they require while their parents are participating in the Divine Liturgy. Therefore, this year we will offer a permanent weekly nursery caretaker. More announcements about this will be made soon.

Don’t forget to register your child online as we’ve done in years past, so that we can organize our classrooms accordingly. Also, don’t hesitate to share Sunday School with a friend! If you know anyone who would be interested in ensuring that their the children have a solid spiritual foundation, please ask them to consider St. John Sunday School.
